let the darkness fade {Private}

humbledemonservant:

Sebastian watched her in interest, smiling as he heard her answer. She definitely had a very interesting kind of answer, and one that he was not all too surprised to hear. It fit her, fit who she was perfectly. This was still the Madam Red he remembered, and even more so. He nods in understanding, watching how those crimson flames were extinguished as quickly as they had appeared in her slender hand and across her arm.

“I would expect nothing less form you, Angelina. In fact, I’m rather pleased to hear that from you,” he tells her after a moment, before chuckling slightly. He hoped he had actually answered her question, but by how she responded to his little metaphor, he could guess she understood.

“Is there anything else you know of that you would like to ask me, while we’re on the subject?” the elder then asks her after a moment out of curiosity. He knew that as time went on, he was sure to hear more inquiries about the matter at hand, but he wished to answer them as she had them. No need to keep her in the dark, when she could so easily get the response she needs now.

           The fact he found a pleasure in her answer, was it not sadism? To find such in another’s eternal struggle. But it was so beautiful, pain, and it was always something she had always wore so well. At least it had been a constant companion where other’s had fallen away. Such dark beauty.

                                 "Thank you.“ Her words are strangely heart felt.

           The woman canted her head to the side, red lengths of her hair drifting into the motion and gliding along the smooth flesh of her bare shoulders. Those eyes, burning so ferociously with a passion and torment, they regarded the elder demon with something akin to admiration. As if he had earned something in those last few minutes. But what could not be placed to name just yet. Not yet. Maybe never– those things had a way of being torn from her life when she allowed them too close.

Better to be safe.

           ”Do you mind if I inquire as to your true name, and perhaps, your age?
