demon-madam has entered the Phantomhive Manor.

humbledemonservant:

Ah, quite the little gift she was trying to sway him with. He would expect nothing less from her, after all, given just who she was. Angelina certainly knew him fairly well, perhaps even more so, given her new position in life. But he was certainly no fool in this matter, nor would he be played as one. This was like a little game of hers, ad he was certain to win.

He gives a small chuckle, a light amused sound, his tone as smooth as the cascading moonlit night he so easily adored. A tilt of his head seemed to ask every question he was about to now.

“My, my…. A rather generous little gift you’re offering… Something like this, it certainly doesn’t come cheap. You couldn’t possibly be offering this to me, someone who almost had your human self killed, before that Reaper did that dirty work instead,” he comments lightly, tossing in their slight conflict as if it were an every day thing, as simple as talk about the current weather.

“While I appreciate your offer, something tells me there is more to this that meets the eye. Demons and succubi aren’t exactly the most honest and trustworthy, now are they~?”

Manicured nails would sway that crystal vial from side to side slowly, causing the contained soul to churn and release a soft melody of memories. It was still fresh; as if it had been reaped from its target earlier that afternoon. Like a succulent berry plucked from the vine of life, just waiting to be sampled. She held it aloft as if it were a simple trinket, not the succulent meal it contained.

ou say that like its a bad thing.” The femme purred, a tongue gliding against the inside of her teeth as if tasting his words with her joviality. “Oh, I don’t hold you accountable for my own actions, darling. I played a dangerous game in my mortal life. But you have to admit, the results are very favourable.” That certainly was more then obvious; her reborn self was enchanting.

erhaps I simply wish to appease you with a gift, and forge a mutual understanding?” She was cunning, and Sebastian was wise to show reluctance. Yet her offer seemed genuine enough, strangely. “I’d much rather have you as an ally, then to ever have you as an enemy. Its a very long eternity, my little raven.” She continued, eyes pulling away from his and drifting instead to the soul that hung between them. Despite her aloofness, it was more then obvious she respected him. Interesting. ╳
